Gophers started great, but they have drifted into daze. We saw this from the last year at times. Worrying. Murr is barely in this match - except to get hit on the back by a serve.

Landfair has resting bored face. Or, you could look at it positively and say she looks calm. Her demeanor isn't that much different than O'Neal's and O'Neal is rarely accused of looking bored. People on here have made comments about Minnesota’s on court demeanor (not just Landfair) for a couple seasons. I don’t intend it as a jab, it’s just they come across like they wish they were anywhere else but on the court. I realize it’s just how they play but to a large audience the perception varies. I think it’s like the equal and opposite reaction to TX players acting like it’s the first time they’ve ever blocked a ball in their lives. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ To each their own. Penn State teams were ragged on for celebrating similarly for years. It is what it is. |
