Gophers started great, but they have drifted into daze. We saw this from the last year at times. Worrying. Murr is barely in this match - except to get hit on the back by a serve. I blame that nasty shirt Cook is wearing!

always was confusing to me that wenaas had to play RS w minn given their outsides r so volatile and she’s so stable both OHs for Minnesota were better than wenaas offensively pretty consistently

Full scale beatdown in set 1. Let’s see if Minnesota has a TCU type comeback tonight or if they are done. TCU comeback? but TCU is 0-2, so I’d hope they want to not have a comeback like TCU

People on here have made comments about Minnesota’s on court demeanor (not just Landfair) for a couple seasons. I don’t intend it as a jab, it’s just they come across like they wish they were anywhere else but on the court. I realize it’s just how they play but to a large audience the perception varies. I think it’s like the equal and opposite reaction to TX players acting like it’s the first time they’ve ever blocked a ball in their lives. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ To each their own. Penn State teams were ragged on for celebrating similarly for years. It is what it is. Well said.

Landfair has resting bored face. Or, you could look at it positively and say she looks calm. Her demeanor isn't that much different than O'Neal's and O'Neal is rarely accused of looking bored. Her on-court demeanor reminds me of Plummer. You can be good and have that demeanor, but you also need fiery rah-rah players, and even after adding Murr I question if Minnesota has enough of those people. But I don't think it's specifically Landfair's fault.

It’s funny how often a team gets blown out in s1 and goes on to win the match. Not saying that’ll happen here, but it’s less surprising than if they’d dropped a close first set. I rebuke this in Jesus name, Amen.

Texas needs to aggressively target Wucherer and Landfair with serve if they want to win. Especially seam between the two when possible. Not groundbreaking strategy, but the passing by those two, despite Minnesota's results, was really quite poor on the weekend. I'm a genius
