I would be shocked if Gopher fans were applauding Booth. Must have been family or Wisconsin fans. Or Izzy's large group. Section Ashburn? I mean 109 ? I walked right by her and her entourage in between matches, she still had her jersey on. Was probably a nice mini-homecoming for her. |

How will Minnesota’s fans react to Wenaas returning? Genuine question. Didn’t keep up during the off-season. A grudging two claps, like most other visiting players get. |

I’m pumped to be in person to watch this game. First time at the Pav. If you want to say "hi" I will be on the endcourt seating next to where the Gopher bench is (to start). I will be in the closest occupied seat to the bench. (And if you don't care to say "hi" I won't be upset.)  |

Any recommendations for parking or should I just Uber? Parking will be $10 in a ramp/lot, or scarce on the street. Some of the lots are going to be in use for the State Fair park&ride, so things will be somewhat crowded. If you're okay with walking a bit, then depending on where you're coming from, you might be able to use the light rail. Green Line goes between Mpls and St Paul, and has a stop (Stadium Village Station) 1/3 of a mile from the Pav. The Blue Line comes up from Bloomington (Mall of America, MSP Airport) and goes up to Mpls. You can transfer between (a ticket lets you ride for 4(?) hours). |

Oh, true... the dedicated park&ride lots would be free. Not sure which ones are (I think lot 58 just west of the Pav was park&ride on Saturday). Let's see... State Fair Park&Ride info: (Irrelevant where the us pickup is, but Park&Ride lots are "various surface lots near Huntington Bank Stadium along 6th St. SE & 8th St. SE open at 8 a.m. daily. 4th St. Ramp and Gold, Gateway and C58 lots open 4 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. weekends & Labor Day.

I predict that O'Neal plays and Texas beats a hot and cold Gophers squad in 5 sets. But man will I celebrate if the Gophs take it! I hope Wenaas gets a nice hand from the crowd.

Minny in 4 if both teams play close to how they played last week. Minny in 3 if Landfair returns to form.
Of course Texas always has a chance to win as they are a talented team. Excited for this match up!
