Third match I've seen in the past 10 days where the TV crew, or the scoreboard keeper - or both - screwed up the score.
What's going on?

Just realized that Urquhart played as a dedicated DS? That's a real change, isn't it? That may have thrown the badgers off.

Just realized that Urquhart played as a dedicated DS? That's a real change, isn't it? That may have thrown the badgers off. She was the DS for Moravec to start the year, played 6 rotations for 4-5 matches, & now this. |

Iowa's HP was 0.231. Only Arizona and Arkansas have done better against the badgers.
Badgers depended on long service runs to win.

Sheffield (Sorry for orginal typos in these. I'm typing as I listen and I am a terrible typist!)
Badgers errors were really low. Very clean in end game situations.
Overall even managed the serve. Iowa earned their points. Good thing they worked on joust at S and P today.
Speed of the Iowa offense was so fast they were way late on the block to begin.
Then jumpy in the back row, missing some digs. Then Iowas started some drop shots that worked. Figured it out slowly.
TTA is trending in right direction, but she is no where near where she was in previous years yet.
Doesn't want to coach anymore if everyone takes winning for granted. He doesn't take this win for granted at all.
(Last was in response to Arias question about badger record).

Rainelle Jones says less with more words than any other volleyball announcer I've ever heard. If BTN wants to grow viewership, they need better announcers. How about getting an ex coach (ie Terry Petitte, Russ Rose) rather than a player who just got her first job after graduation. |
