Would love to see the Beavs get a win on the board, though AZ seems to be improving, and you'd think they may be favored. Beavs have been getting more sets the last few matches, so they are capable.

Beavers somehow upset ASU, but watch, they don't replicate it vs. Arizona. But, I wouldn't count them out.

It would be quite amusing if ASU knocks off Oregon and OSU beats Arizona. I am certain nobody had "OSU gets more wins this weekend than Oregon" on their bingo card.

... and there it is. OSU wins 3-2. Goes 2-0 on the weekend.

I've never observed an Az VB Team look like they were just going through the motions (they did have a nice comeback in S5). Players look disengaged and appear to have something other than vb on their mind. Definitely a drastic difference between Rita & Dave's demeanor and coaching styles but she's been around these players so i didn't anticipate her losing the girls. Fortunately a looming change in Conference affiliation will allow for a reset.

You could tell they wanted to win and AZ was just there. |
