all of you are trying to yuck my yum this morning. Okay, I’ll bite. Here’s what I see in the flames. Texas gets sent to Stanford as the 6th seed. Texas pulls a San Diego in highly contested 4-set match. Jerritt credits their early loss and improvements made for the win. You all eat your shoes. Rinse and repeat with Madison and Pittsburgh. Or revenge tour in Lincoln to reverse Fall of 2021. It happens. Need to get there first, of course. That Sweet 16 match is going to be more formidable than usual. Honestly, the way we’re playing, we have no choice but to peak down the line. Where, when, against whomst, is all whatever at this point. And yes, we CAN still host. We just need a little help from our friends. tOSU, Minnesota, ASU I’m looking at all of y’all.

A little help from multiple friends. I don't think a single loss will do it for any prospective regional host. Not in comparison to Texas. But at least we're still having this conversation. The TCU match looked like it would make the conversation moot at several points. Love that we grinded out the win. That was fun.

I’m just saying, if we end up fifth in RPI like futures projects, and we get a meltdown here and an upset there, we could squeeze our way into the mix.

Sadly, it will come down to wins against RPI Top 25 teams, and we just won't have enough of them to get the final regional host spot over Louisville or Washington State. They would need like 2 "bad" losses each even if we win out.

lmao Nalls was 24-4-37 (.541) and also added 14 digs and an ace what a baller, just wish she was a bit more consistent Agreed, but watching her all season, she’s dealt well with constant lineup changes around her due to injuries. The West Virginia match she was all alone without Parra and Gibson and setter change mid-match. My wife was so impressed with her defense and passing, covers so well. Hope TCU can go on a run and join Texas and Kansas as teams that can do do some damage in the tourney.

I don’t know how to word this politely Molly hitting under .200 as FIFTH YEAR opposite who only gets set in system is nothing short of unacceptable. Jenna is hitting better and almost all of her swings are OOS it seems like. I mean I dont disagree, Devin should be starting over molly. But its not like molly is getting perfect sets from swindle... Swindle has been less than stellar this year in my opinion. ALL their players are getting sets that are little rough, more than last year WHAT. A true freshman is not playing as well as a 5-year super senior? Shut the front door

Shut the front door Did not say swindle should be all world. But I also said molly is not working with the same setting she is used too. There are two sides to a coin, and yes molly should be playing better, but its not ALL her fault.

Did I miss something? Is Buckley injured? (Not complaining about Nicholson, just curious)

Did I miss something? Is Buckley injured? (Not complaining about Nicholson, just curious) That was the reason Nicholson played. I haven't heard anything about the injury, though.

Sometimes injuries can linger even when you're healthy enough to play. I don't know all the causes. I just know what I saw last night was more of what I expected to see at the beginning of the season, and didn't. She was awesome.

I been said last year “free Parra” now this year i been said “free Devin”…she lookin at Parra goin off like damn i shoulda transferred too Some players not only want to start/play but also compete in tough practices against similar level players, play for conference championships, and have team success in the post-season. Sometimes you can have it all; sometimes you can't and have to prioritize what you want out of your college playing days. If u are a walk-on or just happy to make the team i agree but a top recruit like Devin she not satisfied about playin top players in practice…yea it helps her game but what helps it even more is if she plays actual games that matter…
