oof! Let's bookmark this. Which regional host are ya'll gonna upset to get to Tampa? But actually, on second thought, this might not disappoint me. I'd for sure root for Texas in a Texas-Wisconsin showdown. As it stands, Texas is more likely to be an underdog than not in a Regional Final (at least in terms of seeding). while I dont disagree with you, werent you the same poster who also said that Texas would lose both games to Houston? lol Yes. I posted that in the '2023 Hot Takes' thread before the season even started. Not nearly the worst in that thread. (and watching Houston play, there's no way I would have doubled down on that. I haven't ranked Houston since like the 1st week of the season) I also posted 3 total bids from the C-USA in the Hot Takes thread, which that may have been possible if Kamryn Bacus had stayed healthy. I wouldn't double down on that either now, it's looking near impossible.

Here’s what I see in the flames. Texas gets sent to Stanford as the 6th seed. Texas pulls a San Diego in highly contested 4-set match. Jerritt credits their early loss and improvements made for the win. You all eat your shoes. If Stanford-Texas is a regional final, I'm rooting for the Horns! But I would also probably be rooting for both to lose their regional semifinal matches anyway

I feel like hot take posts are made in a Circle of Trust.

I feel like hot take posts are made in a Circle of Trust. My opinion is that “hot takes” predictions should be no more than 1% likely to occur, but not less than 0.001% likely (both percentages measured with a SWAGmetometer).
