Y’all say season after season (can’t wait till next year) Then when next year comes, you rag on them too. Y’all are a bunch of jokes. Isn’t it more like one person whose username resembles yours? Dun dun dun Who knows - maybe they’ll salvage the season … but if this is how they play, it doesn’t look good. Santa Barbara did look good and they seemed ready to attack Hawaii. Congrats to them with their game plan and execution. Hawaii, on the other hand … uh…

Dave trying hard to find something good to say about this Hawaii team in the post game show is hilarious. What did he say? Although we know he won’t probably say what he truly feels… lol! Train wreck! I didn't get to listen to the entire post-game recap but he pretty much said that Hawaii had opportunities in the 2nd and 3rd that they didn't seize.

I can understand the disappointment but the takes I'm reading are out there. Not too mention, next years players arguably seem the most raw out of all of Robyn’s years. I think one or two may help, but idk about the rest. We definitely will be hitting the portal next year

Ah ok .. maybe it’s grass is greener syndrome. But honestly, you would think this team should be performing better being that most of the pieces came back from last year. So I can see how people may have thought that. Same thing with when Dave retired. But next year will be a total mystery, so that’s even a bit more worrisome - esp since it doesn’t seem the Wahines have progressed …

I expected more but we still have the tournament. Just gotta play well until then and at that moment Go bows!

I might get iras at times but I appreciate that these girls are out there giving it their everything, unforced errors and all. Go Bows!

I’m not even saying it this year but for me I’ve given up on this season and this team. All the self-inflicted errors and stupidity game after game, isn’t worth my time. This team isn’t worth my time and I’m not sorry about it. I’ve never been as frustrated with a Hawaii team in my 32 years of being a season ticket holder as I am with this particular Hawaii team.

I wonder what Jaylen Reyes is going to look like in a Hawaii polo shirt next year?
It seems pretty clear to me Robyn is Hawaii's version of Scott Frost, and I know how much that sucks. The native alumna/former playing great who you hope, beg, and plead is the right coach. Only by know everyone can see that it's not working, but no one wants to say it out loud. You know it just won't get better, but no one wants to be the person to fire the beloved former player. It just drags out and makes everyone miserable. Even the coach knows they're not the right person, and it depresses them as much as anyone.
I've been there and I feel for Hawaii fans. But, you've got to do something. You know it, even if you don't want to speak it into existence.

Robyn, forget about any promises you made to Riley Wagoner. This is all about winning Volleyball matches. Robyn you need to put Riley Wagoner in a Libero Jersey, immediately. Please read this post of your at least 5 times — very slowly and very carefully. And I’m hoping that when you’re done, you’ll be able to spot the sh*t stain of your statement. Sadly, promises are taken so lightly by those who see no value of trust and respect in promises. It’s just a tool for selfish manipulators to use, as if promises are cheap expired stale candy to give out just to get what they want out of someone. “Wahinefan”, I truly hope that you’ll eventually come to realize that there is more between coaches and their players than just the goal of winning in collegiate volleyball (or whatever sports). If it is really true, that Robyn gave that promise to Riley when Riley was a recruit and kept that promise till today, then good on Robyn. She shows the respect that Riley deserves. Ah Mow is a woman of her word and someone who can be trusted… someone who is a good influence to young impressionable minds. That kind of person is someone who I would want my child to have in her/his life beyond the short few years of their collegiate sport career because it is so hard to find those kind of people nowadays. And in case Riley’s family actually comes on here to read Hawaii threads which can be so venomous towards Riley (and other players), please remember that Riley is appreciated by many fans for her her commitment to the program and for all her hard work she has put in these last few years as a wahine, and for the value she brings to the team.

There have been years where Robyn has had less and done more than expected, the only issue with this season is that we all expected more and this team is underachieving. Save your “feelings”. There are a lot more factors than just the coach as far as what contributes to team performance. Anyone with an understanding of volleyball and knowledge of how athletic programs work would know that. I don’t deny that staff additions and investment by the Athletic department needs to be significantly improved. But it’s not at the head coaching spot.
