Stella is just waiting for her name to be called lol And so am I! Hopefully! Robin probably wants to keep these girls in for confidence. This lineup has fresh energy.

Omg I freaking love this commentator lol This combo with Coach Brande as the color commentator is pretty good. Kainoa and Coach McLachlin are better.

Hopefully! Robin probably wants to keep these girls in for confidence. This lineup has fresh energy. It does but so did the other lineup when they unveiled it at Cal Poly. I'll leave the lineup decisions to Robyn where it belongs.

Agree, when it comes to service aces. But when it comes to keeping the ball in play, on a serve, I would say Tayli Ikenaga. Actually, among the 5 best servers for Hawaii, Kate has the least amount of aces. In my opinion, she's the only Hawaii server who has routinely disrupted opponents passing lines and she has range e.g. she can serve short, deep, line drive etc. Tayli does keep her serve though with only 4 service errors on the year. It is Kate Lang's service location that is really good. She is usually on-point with her service location.

UCI looked better once they cleaned up their passing late in that second set.
UH serve-pass game looks much much better that last week. Allowing Lang to set a much better game too.
I'm still kinda not loving our tip coverage and I can't decide if we're blocking better or not. (Our blocking game was being helped by our tough serving and UCI being really predictable)

Amber ends set 3 with a block. 25-19 Wahine.
Hawaii hitting .357 to Irvine's .098. Wahine still limiting their unforced hitting errors with a total of 2. Though, they did commit some long service errors down the stretch in set 2 which took pressure off of Irvine to side out on their own. Hawaii outblocking Irvine 6-5.
Tali - 7 K .357 Paula and Kendra - 6 kills a piece hitting .462 and .400 respectively
Surprise stat: Amber 4 kills on 7 attempts hitting .286 (she got blocked on her first 2 swings)

Looked like an Irvine net to me. This should be a Hawaii point.
Edit: NVM no net. It was the ball
