Pretty far down, as they each only play three rotations. That means their percent numbers are half of what any other 5-1 setter would be. It's hard to compare them apples to apples because they are in a 6-2. Then you just have to look at the per set metrics then. that doesn't work either, because they only play three rotations in a set versus the 6th any other setter place in a match. That's the issue.

Penn State doing Penn State things playing tough at home! KSC is getting her team in prime playing shape just in time for the tourney. Don’t know how deep they’ll go playing away from home but they’ll be a scary team to play. Congrats PSU! I think PSU can have a successful tournament. The change in line up is huge. Some growing pains with it but it definitely adds firepower to a team that needed fire power. Zoe also seems to be dealing with the inside and off sets to the right side better than Hannah. The set would make me think Mac had been setting a lefty RS her career which is not the case. They need to work on getting the right side sets to Zoe’s right side of her body. Or Zoe needs to step into the court but I think she would get blocked more. Hopefully PSU gets to host the first 2. If they don’t host will they be sent to University of Pennsylvania automatically because if travel? The way I laughed 🤣 🤣. Nice one lol

Got off the phone with my sis to see this match ended as predicted. Badgers just never got into gear. A good part of that is that PSU played their hearts out, so credit to them.
But there was a lack of connection on the badgers side as well - between the block and the floor defense and between the setters and hitters. Anticipation seemed off - a little slow all around the court. Izzy had one of her poorer nights statistically after having one of her best.
If the badgers are going to do well in the tournament, they have to find a way to dig deep and work through that kind of thing, and match the intensity on the other side of the net, because it will be there. Temi has to figure out how manage situations better.

The result has been the same in each case, i.e., the match was there for the taking, but The Badgers couldn't take it.
There is something missing. For example, Tom Brady had what it takes, Aaron Rodgers didn't. Those fundamental intangibles don't seem to change. We'll see if The Badgers can break the mold.

The team came out flat -- no travel excuses or no Shrek excuses. TeribbleTemiA is not it. What an imposter - I want the 2019-22 version that played at Northwestern and led the B1G in hitting. Julia, you're a stud. You were missed at Libero -- your lil sis GG is too scared. Pressure is on her, and she chokes. Sheffield humble yourself, it's ok to take TIME OUTS to stop flow/momentum. It's okay not to appease both setters! Anna, I hope you're ok, and ready by Nov 23. If not, find us another pin ASAP. LIZ!! You should of stayed lol. The #2 version team better show up to Purdue, if not, we in danger, girl... Carter Booth was a no-show...thanks to setting in my opinion. Robinson was great in the first two sets, then faded. I thintk 5-1 may be worth the risk. TTA is giving me Grace Loberg vibes. When she is swinging, I hold my breath. MJ ...... GG GET YOUR DAMN SERVES IN! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HERE IS MY ROTATION CHART IF I WAS IN CHARGE. Vs- Purdue Until when or if SMREK does come back... I think Orzol needs to be the passing stabilizer and the LIBERO TTA can never play RS, EVER - She's a gamble at OH -- but I'll take that bet. ROTATION 4 is tricky it has Crawford or Robinson at the OH -- I think it's crazy, but this gives WI the best offense production with lackluster TTA. Robinson or Crawford would block well on the left and Frank and GG and Julia would pass in this SR, I think it's worth the gamble. insert code here insert code here Attachments:

As a Badger fan, I simply pointed out that The Badgers have had trouble "digging deep and working through that kind of thing" in some big matches. It has nothing to do with winning overall; they are obviously very successful. The question remains, when the chips are down and things aren't going well against a good team in a big match, can they turn it around and win?
We will see how that works out going forward. Gibby, the know it all Nebraska fan, will undoubtedly have something to say, no matter what.

TTA is giving me Grace Loberg vibes. When she is swinging, I hold my breath. Loberg hits .220+ her final season and came up with clutch kills down when we needed them in the F4 against Louisville and Nebraska. Also, she can at least play some defense. TTA hits into the freaking block 10X a set, and the less said about TTA's defense, the better. I would take Loberg over TTA in a heartbeat right now easily.

PENN ST. (26-8,13-7 BIG TEN) -VS- WISCONSIN (28-3,19-1 BIG TEN)
Dec. 8th 2022 IN Madison
PSU didn't have Trammell..so let's put an *
Hahahaha JK.
Most fans get it and most Wisconsin fans understand. B1G volleyball is incredible and especially this time of year.
If you asked me I said to many people I thought Wisconsin was the best team up to this point in the B1G this year. Just an opinion.
I also said that if I was a coach I would not want PSU nor Wisconsin on my side of the bracket from the B1G come tourney time.
All this being said my only concern is Michigan St next weekend and whoever is up after that. PSU played some inspired ball this weekend and let's hope the energy continues.
