Maybe a retirement season for April and then Alix teams up with someone to make a run for LA28?
Alix is still (relatively) young and can win a bunch more golds on the world tour for a few more years.

Except April wrote that she's so been there, done that with Olympics. She writes she just wants to have fun and play this summer.
If Alix really were interested in LA2028, she'll need to grab the libero from the Grand Rapids Rise... what a dream team.

Maybe that's been the plan all along

King of the Court announced today that they are returning to Miami on the weekend of September 27-29. This is the weekend after the AVP League will be in "South Florida" so hopefully they will again share resources, infrastructure, etc. again like they did last year. The AVP League will have moved on to San Diego that weekend, but hopefully there's enough cooperation between KOTC and the AVP so that some of the AVP League players will be able to remain in Miami for the KOTC. And maybe they'll even have some promotional events, clinics, etc. during the week in between so that a weeklong trip to Miami would be a worthwhile destination for BVB fans. kingofthecourt.com/events/6887-qkotc-miami-2024/event-info
