My peeps who have previously gone to a Final Four / Natty, can you give me an idea of what ticket prices are like? I missed the presale, but am seeing all-sessions tickets on resale websites in the neighborhood of $400 for mid-way up an arena level section. Is that good or bad? What would be the comparable face value? Also do F4 teams get a specified allotment (i.e. should I wait and risk it).

In 2015, 2017 & 2018 I waited until the day off the first semi-final and got good seats at a "reasonable" price. In 2018, I got tickets for the final after Nebraska won the first semi. Went out to the concourse after the Huskers beat PSU with a sign "Need one for Sat", and it wasn't just a couple minutes I got a ticket from one of the coaches there for the AVCA festivities. Many of those coaches don't stay for the final. Also, keep in mind the fans of schools the won't end up making it to the FF. If Nebraska doesn't make it, there will be tons of tickets available. I would wait but also keep your eyes open. |

It's more than double face value. The schools will get an allotment. The trouble with Texas and theirs is the athletic department requires a lot of blind faith if you're ordering through them. It's based on loyalty points ranking but I've known some people with pretty low ranking get tickets. The Omaha year we were given a cutoff and I wasn't below it, we were able to buy in the secondary market the week before because Nebraska got eliminated during regionals. Then the tickets we ordered through UT showed up in our email Thursday morning before the semis. Last year was super easy, not many people planned to go to Tampa and they were calling people who had gone previously to use the allotment. I expect this year to be more like '22. Ticket prices can always drop when reality sets in for FF hopefuls. I mean, NU has to travel to the West Coast and with the low temps and Pacific breezes, their passing could go south like it did in Tampa on that cold arena floor. Then a glut of tickets will be available. |

Will we see even more back row attacks from Madi this season due to our inexperienced middle blockers, or one doesn't relate to the other?
Speaking of back row attackers, who would you rank as our best at that skill -- Destinee Hooker, Haley Eckerman, Logan Eggleston, or Madi Skinner?

Speaking of back row attackers, who would you rank as our best at that skill -- Destinee Hooker, Haley Eckerman, Logan Eggleston, or Madi Skinner? I feel like Skinner has a chance to be the best back row attacker in college to date. I feel like she’s already better than Eggleston, and that’s saying a lot. To me it’s tough to compare to previous generations because the women’s game wasn’t utilizing back row attacks as much. There was also just a different approach to setting overall - aka the moon ball. I don’t know what we’re going to see, really. Rutherford is a scoring machine on the right side. She’s really special as an offensive weapon. I think Singketary may be better offensively than she is defensively, at least early on. But I do know we should be counting on Skinner to take over when things are tight or not going so well. She may not be indefensible, but she’s as close to it as it gets in college volleyball right now. |

these are not all bics but skinner doing what she does...both hooker & skinner were/are lethal especially when you can jump over the block (& their range)
