While I need Washington to win against Indiana, I'm also going to need Haworth to pop off for like 5 aces.... but then Bush return the favor with 5 aces of her own  As long as Julia Hunt takes over the match and gets 5 aces as well, this is fine. |

Do we know why Hani has not yet played? She's played one set. She got 1 kill on 2 attacks (.500), 1 ace, and no blocks. My guess is that Hunt and Wessels are doing better in practice (the Cauldron?). |

And another game where Wilmes shows she can carry an offensive load (though I would love to see Barton and Fletcher back healthy soon). Honestly, I kind of like Wilson just running the show. Wouldn't mind seeing a 5-1 with a double sub as needed once Fletcher is healthy.

Do I think they are a second round tournament caliber team? Yes, but only with a healthy Barton. Do I think they are a regional tournament quality team? Maybe, but only with a healthy Barton. Do I think they are an elite 8 team? probably not. *IF* some how, some way, they can make a progression in serve reception and get a few more quality defensive touches per set....who knows! |
