What’s MNs current RPI ranking? Anyone know? Official RPI doesn't come out until about mid-October, but Figstats does an unofficial version. They have Minnesota at 32 right now. ncaastats.figstats.net/volleyball-rpi.cgiRPI with Bonuses (not sure what that means) has the Gophers currently at 23. Also, 3-4 vs top25 RPI, only a handful of teams with more wins in that category. Nebraska with 6 wins, Louisville and Stanford both with 4 wins. The USC game this weekend is big. Another chance for a top 25 RPI win. |

The RPI with the blue background gives a boost from away wins and dings for home losses. The pink background is completely unmodified. The green background gives bonus points for beating top 25 and top 50 RPI teams, penalizes for losing to bottom RPI teams (can't remember the numbers), and gives a bonus for scheduling a certain percentage of your schedule against top RPI teams. Green background is closest to what NCAA uses. |

We are definitely the most battle-tested 5 setter team in the nation right now lol. Good thing is USC also went to 5 with Michigan today. Both teams are exhausted for tmr!

But this team is just above-average.
When is the last time the Gophers have gone two years in a row of not hosting a first round? Very much trending that way.

Did the team fly there yesterday, on the same day as the match, to save money? That makes it harder to win. I might be wrong, but I thought I heard it mentioned somewhere that they flew there Friday. They were talking about all the social media posts from the team in LA. |
