RW on the "Bump Set Chat" podcast I didn't know that she wanted to be a Bow since she was 12 years old!

I got to give to Hawaii against LBSU. That's probably the best they've played in years. Caylen really outdid herself and looked like all-American on the court.
Really hope they can build from that game, because if they do, I can see them go at least 2 rounds in the NCAAs.

I didn't know that she wanted to be a Bow since she was 12 years old! Ugh I miss Wags! I dissed her a lot for her low efficiency hitting %. But I remember hearing how she wanted to always be a Wahine, so I admired and respected her for that. From all the decommits and transfers, I can respect someone who wants to be a wahine and commits to the program. Just too bad she couldn't, at the very least, be a .200 career OH for Hawaii.

Her hitting was so hot and cold and mostly cold. Her approach and how she jumped just wasn't there for an outside that was only 6'0". Regardless, her passing and defense made up for a lot. In my opinion, Amber doesn't see as many sets as she did without Wags passing and digging the way she did.

Hahahahahahahahahah Would it be the Puka lauhala buss up purse....or the Gucci diamond studded blinged out purse? Hahahaha Love her.

She wasn’t without her weaknesses, but overall she was a net positive for the team, and a massive net positive at that. Amber was the star of that class but she doesn’t get to be half the player she was without Riley as the team’s foundation. Heck, if I had to pick between Amber and Riley to add to the current Wahine team, it’s Riley by a mile. The team’s firepower is fine. Less than they were with Amber but fine. A foundation coming from solid passing is something that would elevate this team multiple levels.

I was ALWAYS the biggest riley stan and none of you can take that from me
I defended her fiercely. She is and always was an icon and her junior year was the best year for a Hawaii outside in a LONG time imo. (Mitchem could of been it but she played middle for the first part/was injured)
Before that maybe hartong?
She was that girl

Yeah, Wags will forever be a Rainbow Wahine. One of my favorite players all-time for our Bows.
