What was said in a nutshell was that they (UH coaches) were going through the year end interviews with the individual players asking for feedback on ways they(UH) could improve as coaches. And that they want to start the spring season on the ground running wanting the returners to take over for those who have left. That the ten returning should be ready to lead and carry the tradition. He did say that he wants everyone to return and that (UH) wants everyone to be happy, and if they choose to enter the transfer portal, they would still be loved no matter where they go. He also said that the five coming in are of high caliber and they are equally happy with everyone they recruit. High quality people with good character and high intelligence.

Found it strange and perhaps telling that he’d even bring it up, maybe I’m just reading into things unnecessarily! |

I wonder if, during the year end interviews, players will bring up Nick Castello's "enthusiastic" coaching in the sidelines during time-outs. It doesn't bother me but I'm not a Wahine player.
