It’s beyond silly to bag on Tali. During the ND match there was a stretch where we was responsible for a bunch of points consecutively. She is by no means, a bad player. She is just inconsistent like most freshmen are. She was a member of her country’s NT but that doesn’t mean she can come here and dominate. We have athletes here in the USA that Tali probably doesn’t see a lot playing in Israel. She will learn and adjust.
At times, her passing is so good you wonder why she can’t do it all the time. I have watched her all year and at times, her passes was money. At other tinies, horrible. Many forget that this is her first year here. I think she will improve and get better.
Last season, It was Riley’s senior season so Tali was not going to get much PT at left side and to find a spot for her, Robyn moved her to OPP, which is not her natural positioning. This season she will compete at OH with Stella for an open spot. The other two pin positions are probably set with Calyen at OPP and Paula ar the other OH. I predict Tali will get better. It will be up to Robyn to see if she prefers more offense with Stella or a less explosive but a more steady all around game with Tali. Both will help us win games.

Yes, I believe that Tali is a competent passer and an above average defender. She seems to be a hard worker so I believe that she will improve as her career goes on.

Tali was better on the NT, she was hitting much smarter and was more consistent. She seems to bang it more at Hawaii, but it doesn't necessarily work. Hope she gets it together

It’s not always the player you know. The coaches have a responsibility to get her to where they want her to be. If Tali plays for Cook she could probably be an AA. Cause cook did SO good at developing all that top ten talent like Lexi sun, ally battenhorst, BROEKHUIS This is no knock on cook. He’s probably the best coach in the ncaa right now, maybe the best ever But can we stop making like he develops these no nothing players into AAs cause he does not lol Well yeah when it comes to coaches, it’s always Cook > Robyn regardless of the recruits ranking out of HS.

She is performing at about the same level that her national team footage showed. She isn't that offensive and excels more with her floor defense.

Tali has a low contact point so it's no secret that her hitting percentage is low.

Footage might show one thing, but the numbers say otherwise Hey so the only box scores I could find out my own was from 2021. In three matches she posted something 7 kills, 9 kills, and 7 kills. Not exactly better than what fans saw at Hawaii but these numbers are from a few years ago. Which box scores are you looking at?

How much of this can corrected? She's on the older side so how of her technique can this corrected in in the next 2+ years of her career? Is her potential possibly at libero, like Wags like I suggested years ago? When I look at Tali, I see Valeria Vazquez Gomez of Pitt, weird arm sing, not much hops but yet still effective, is it because of her footwork or?

Tali has a low contact point so it's no secret that her hitting percentage is low. And she keeps contacting into the block. She also can't hit oos as well as the other Wahine

In my opinion, she needs to step close slightly quicker so that she can jump straight up and then torque instead of crunching to generate power. She showed this correction when the Wahine played at UCI. IIRC, in this match, fans saw Lang dishing a quicker set to the outside, which organically caused Tali to step close quicker, which created a higher contact point. I don't think Tali has an unconventional arm swing like VVG, who has a windmill type of swing like Alaka'i Todd on the men's team.
