He’s congratulating them on a successful season and recognizing their strengths-it’s pretty much the standard template. If he hadn’t mentioned W you’d say he was arrogant. Would not have brought arrogance into it at all. And the opening statement did not congratulate W on a good season. Thinking the point I made is just being missed. It’s more cutting to say what he did in a situation LIKE THIS than to not say anything at all about W until asked. That’s all. Sorry but I enjoyed the statement because I thought it was nasty 😆 It wasn't being nasty. If you told 99% of the teams that they would make the final four at the beginning of the season, they would say that would be a great season. Wisconsin did have a great season. We're just disappointed because we thought it could have been a championship season. That doesn't negate the other 98.6% of the season where we were great. |

Not to be reductive but Texas tried the same things every team tried all year against WI. Pressure in serve receive, make Sarah work for her points, tip the setter and hope the back row gives you a few points. It’s just that it worked this time. “It just worked this time.” Because Texas was better at it than those other teams. In this match. Kudos. Y'all were not great and pulled it together. Let's hope you don't get Wenaased in the final. |

Just rewatched the match. Sheff. Ugh. Serving not tough enough. Cross court defense by our libero was not good enough. Smrek was great. And why did we keep hitting hard cross to Emma Halter? Why didn't coaches tip to put the backrow and OH more difficult? Temi came to play, but my god, Orzol and GG found their basement.

The badger serving this year was generally not as good as in previous years. There were some matches in which is was really good, but it was really up and down. This match was one of the latter. |

Does anyone have the passing numbers for the Nebraska match? Earlier on this thread the stats said Wisconsin passed a 1.7. I wonder if Neb was better or worse.
