I went to start one and it was already here. Which one of our front row transfers out with going back to a 5-1. I have zero inside knowledge but Robinson is the one that worries me most for some reason. If I’m Smrek and Franklin and Robinson I’m heading to California for winter break to find a gym and start working with Charlie. Spend spring break down in Cali too tbh Sounds fun to me!!!! |

Hancock is still a national-team level setter. I would take even Haworth-level setting for Charlie's freshman year tbh. How about Pukis lol. I think improved setting will be the key to this team, but still worried about the back row. Time for Saige, Lola, and Maile to push the upperclassmen. |

I hope Sheffield decides to nurture a new DS in 2024 because I don’t see any improvement in GG anymore.
I have to admit that Sheffield’s political games scare me.

Assuming a 5-1 Robinson will have to change positions. Move to middle or convert to OH. Hate to see CC squeezed out, hope it’s the latter.

There is no way Anna is playing middle anymore with her efficiency in blocking the OHs. I can see Robinson in the middle and CC sitting.

Yeah honestly the backrow is probably just as, if not more vital. Can't have our freshman setter runs marathon every game. We NEED to find one (or more) more DS that can pass (if Orzol doesn't move back to outsides) because Frank was clearly gassed by the end of the game passing with two and honestly, I don't blame her. |

Is it confirmed 6-2 isn't working? Big problem with the 6-2 is the setters who were running it. I love Izzy and MJ, but neither is a national championship setter. Will be awesome to have a high level setter again in '24 after two down years. And I'm very excited about the incoming back row players. I see GG being a bench player next year. That poor level of play in big games 2 years in a row is unacceptable if you want to be a perennial power. |

CC as SS and some needed depth in the middle. I think Carter improves even more, establishing connection with Charlie early will be key. |

With Robinson, Smrek, Franklin and Crawford in their last year we need to be ready to compete for a natty next year. Luckily it sounds like Charlie will be up to that task. Putting a LOT of pressure on a freshman that won't start early. We're going to start out with a bunch of struggles I think as the team iron out the connections on the fly. Might not see a fully clicking Wisconsin till late in the season. Which is fine, but it means we might not be in contention for hosting. |
