Can we all relax? No need to spin into toxicity after losing to arguably the best team in the country. R-E-L-A-X! Indeed. I think tonight was much more about what Nebraska did than what Wisconsin failed to do.

In better news, both Texas and Stanford lost to unranked teams tonight, so things could be worse!

My heart is on the team nothing else. No, your heart isn't on the team lmao. Because if it was, you'd goddamn realize that getting to meet the VP of the US, much less the first female and first black VP of the US, is a much much bigger opportunity for these girls than volleyball. You'd realize that them showing up to rally to support their beliefs in what is a very pivotal election for the US is a much bigger thing than volleyball. But nah, all you care about is wins and losses on the court, and not these girls off the court.

Hosting the regionals is out of the question, but still a solid enough resume for a 2 seed

I'd rather be a 3 than bottom 2 seed and having to go to Pitt or Nebraska The “top” 3 seeds go to Pitt and Nebraska anyway, so doesn’t make much of a difference. Still 9 matches left to play in the Big 10, so we’ll see how things play out.

So let’s hope we get sent to the Creighton regional? I think they have a great shot at hosting if they win out the Big East

Living in a college town. In one of the most important swing states of the election. Discussions of politics has NEVER came up. Being women during a time when arguably one of the most important court cases cases of all time for women's rights in the US got turned back. These girls have NEVER went to a political rally before. You're right lmao. Also pray do tell when is the next moment they'd get the chance to meet the VP of the US and POTUS candidate if they turn down this one because it's "not the right moment"?

They were going to lose to Nebraska at home eventually. It's been 11 years. But getting stomped at the Field House on a Friday night has got to be embarrassing for them. Nebraska came in there and took their lunch and their lunch money. And nobody did anything about it. Didn't respond to adversity.
The good thing is that this should make them better. Especially the young players. Going through a beat down at home and the emotions that come with it is a good experience in the long run.
Concerning thing is that most of this team is very freaking experienced and doesn't seem like anybody is lighting a fire under team when things get hard.
Then again I'm not a volleyball player so maybe "lighting a fire" doesn't matter in this sport. It does in football and hockey, that is 💯

I can understand there's way more emotional ups and downs talking to a LEADER than your random neighbors. It's different.

When would be their next opportunity to meet the VP of the US and one of the two primary POTUS candidate? Since you keep "not the right time", so then when would they get this next opportunity for this once-in-a-lifetime meeting? Please do tell.
