Louisville ends with Pitt and Stanford; PSU ends with Purdue/Wash/Rutgers/Neb; Creighton probably ends with two more 3-0 wins... psshhh

Since the new rankings came out, does anybody know where the 2025 recruits are ranked?

I don't think they need PSU to lose. The RPI is close 4-9. Close enough to not matter all that much, giving the committee leeway to use judgment. If they beat Nebraska in Lincoln, and the gophers, they get the credit they are not getting for beating PSU at home handily, especially if they win convincingly. Louisville is in based on RPI. I know PSU beat them, but they are well clear unless something catastrophic happens to them. The huskers are in - even if they lose to both UW and PSU, IMO. This discussion will be about the 4th spot. If Nebraska beats PSU at home, then PSU is definitely not top 4. Creighton would go in before them. UW gains credibility by beating the huskers regardless of what PSU does because of the head to head between UW and PSU. Creighton lost to the huskers in Lincoln, and that provides cover for the badgers to be picked over the blue jays. That's how I think the thinking would play out in the very specific case of the badgers beating the huskers. That has yet to happen! If PSU doesn't lose, that means that PSU will have beaten Nebraska, too. PSU can claim the Wisconsin loss as an off night, in a tough arena to play in, coming off a game the day before. With only 2 losses, PSU stays at number 4. They need PSU to loose to Nebraska. BUT, if PSU beats Nebraska and Wisconsin beats Nebraska, then all three of them will share the BIG Ten title this year. So, a great outcome for Wisconsin either way if they can get 2 wins this week. You can make the same case that a win in Happy Valley vs the huskers could be a home match, and an off night for Nebraska. If UW beats Nebraska, in Lincoln, I think that suggests the win against PSU in Madison was not some fluke and that the badgers are actually a better team right now. PSU is at a little of a disadvantage here IMO because their schedule doesn't allow them to prove themselves. They get single shots against UW and the huskers. Otherwise their B1G schedule turned out to be quite a bit weaker. A lot has to be inferred. That loss in Madison really raises the stakes for them. For sure husker win against PSU in Happy Valley seals the deal. They would have lost both their big shots. A Purdue win even more so. Creighton or the badgers go at 4th seed then, depending on what the badgers do. But I don't think it's necessary. We'll see. Chances are none of these scenarios play out. Honestly, this whole game of who gets a seed is kind of bonkers, but I don't think the popularity of the sport is such to warrant neutral courts yet.

In re Simon, I'll stick my neck out and say that a #35 player does not get an offer from Wisconsin, Stanford and Louisville. I think Kelly is looking for really big things from her, but probably not right out of the gate.

Do you subscribe to one of the services to provide these rankings? I'm guessing possibly you're a coach? It looks like the ONLY way to find out 2027 info is to subscribe I find very, very little on 2027 rankings. Isn't in like another month we'll start hearing about 2027 verbals but we don't know much of anything about any of the potential verbals names at this point... haha.

Badgers are one of four best teams in the nation. They have proven their worth over past 15 matches. Now if we could only get that darn RPI to agree with you! The RPI is the single biggest joke in NCAA sports. Such a travesty, the NCAA’s biggest money-maker (MBB) stopped looking at it many years ago.
