This is a great recent interview/convo with former Badger Izzy Ashburn. Talks about Badgers culture, her true height, and much more. tl;dr what's her actual height? She said it’s 5’9”.

My wife's back is acting up so she's not going to the game tonight. So I have one ticket. $20. First one to send me a direct message gets it. What a good deal!!! If I was closer to Madison I’d take you up on the offer. Hoping that your wife finds some relief.

Wisconsin really, really, really needs to upgrade their program when it comes to developing the type of serving we've seen from Minnesota and Nebraska.
Maybe we don't respond well against service pressureim games because if we're not seeing that from any of our players in scrimmage/practice then how are we supposed to be ready in high level game situations.
Charlie and Lola have done well periodically but as a team we dont serve with enough mustard and far too often we dont put pressure on the opposing team.

Because Minnesota has 10 losses we should aspire to that?

We were literally missing 2 of our best servers in Lola and GG Regardless at this level having multiple players serve into the net is ridiculous… And then the same player does it again…. It’s a problem and gives away easy points.

Imagine being grumpy after that absolute treat of a volleyball match in which your favorite team won.

For me it's better to go safe placements at the risk of predictability rather than going for unpredictable less consistent serves but the best teams can consistently do unpredictable serves with a high consistency of placements such as Minnie and Nebraska. It not only troubles us but it troubles every team not equipped to deal with elite serving teams.
I'm curious, how do teams shut Anna down? Is it because their blockers can reach high enough, or is she getting sub optimal sets due to putting Charlie under pressure, or is she simply a bad day? Because when in form, she can hit .300 on a consistent basis. I expect Nebraska to shut her down if things don't improve because if you shut Anna down, then the Badgers start to over rely on Sarah which makes the team more predictable.

I think it's the sub-optimal sets by pressuring Charlie. :/
