Don't think you'll have to worry about her once she gets to Kentucky. Skinner has built a really great culture here.
And not sure what's the holdup with Kjolhede. Would be nice to have an announcement soon.

Haha. No kids. Word gets around though through many channels. Did yours? I have never heard of anything negative about her and that comes from multiple parents of current and former teammates. They have all spoke very highly of her as a person and a player. I think there is some bitterness towards her for whatever reason from you. I also think she showed how capable she is in that UA match because she more than held her own. |

Just stating what has happened per former teammates and what other coaches have observed. Not doubting her talent which can make glossing over off-court behavior an easier feat. Hopefully she matures and sees her ways in the past have been unbecoming and wrong. She will be representing a solid team & university and many young girls will be emulating her. We want the right image and the right leaders repping UK, ya know? |

On one hand, yes, our coaches who constantly talk about "recruiting the person, not the player" spent years watching her, going to games, talking to her coaches, inviting her to camps, and got to know her and her parents through the recruiting process before she eventually committed think she's a good fit. But on the other hand, there's a rumor going around she might be a little mean sometimes. So who's to say |

I think Benjamin is going to be really good for Kentucky. Wish she was enrolling early to get a head start, but Skinner doesn't roll that way for some reason.

Are we so sure that Texas is going to mop the floor with KY? There’s a pretty decent shot KY has the advantage at setter, likely the middle although marginal, and probably overall stronger passing/floor defense. Skinner and Rutherford will be better than KY’s. top two pins but Deleye and the potential of the others will certainly compete. I except it to be a dogfight. Throw the chance of Florida taking a game from either/both and it will likely be a tight race. I would be interested to see how often teams underperform in a new conference. Texas is at a disadvantage with it being their first year in the conference in my opinion. Almost everywhere they travel will be a new city, new gym, new players to scout, etc Skinner is a stud, but I don't think Rutherford is that good. She is not consistent and often struggled at Kentucky when they played the better teams. Wait, what? Rutherford had over 4 points per set hitting over .300% and you think that's not good?  |

Question is can we get a second portal MB or is there an unsigned 2024 MB worth looking at. I dont think Nolan or Blackwell have announced either. Getting one of them as well would be great |

She hasn't announced her decision yet so I'm not sure what the hold up is there. Would also love to hear more info on her game as I don't follow Indiana vball at all lol.
