She has two years of eligibility left. After next season we lose 3 pins. And we only has 1 RS on the roster right now. I believe Mauch was not going to be on scholarship right away, but with 2 players leaving via the portal I wonder if they give one of those scholarships to Mauch so she can be on scholarship from day 1? Or does Cook look to the portal for another right-side hitter? Mauch was announced by Nebraska on signing day. My understanding is that they can't do that if they are a walk on or a partial scholarship. Programs can retweet or put on their story from the player, but they can't post. Am I wrong? |

It's been a rough few days on top of losing Ames a little while back. Need some good news. Heard some inklings but hopefully something concrete in our near future. Momentum feels not on our side right now.
(Yes, dramatic for a National Runner Up 33-2 team. I acknowledge this).

so, who do we need to serve us in practice to be better next year... feels like every year Cook stresses that serving hard and passing well is the goal but we didn't serve tough whole season and really didnt pass well @ NC. it's obviously the natty and that would affect anyone, but still. How come Andi Jackson didn’t get more opportunities to serve? I thought she had a nasty float, which was harder to pass than some of Orr’s lollipops. Probably consistency but Orr being a serving sub kind of came out of nowhere |

I route for Nebraska every year (primarily an Illini fan), but after the press conference and what Cook had to say about Texas it just left a bad taste in my mouth. It was diminishing all the work Texas's players and staff have done this past season. Not sure if I can route on for a team who's leaders don't praise good work.

Probably consistency but Orr being a serving sub kind of came out of nowhere Your odds of digging a ball to win the point is greater than you acing them, so he usually would go for defense over offense. That said, after seeing how dominant Lauren Stivrins serve was after she went pro and that we rarely used her as a server, makes me think he might be missing the boat. |

If so, I don't think it will happen that way. I think it's more likely they bring in an impact transfer, or just leave the scholarship open until the following season. |

If so, I don't think it will happen that way. I think it's more likely they bring in an impact transfer, or just leave the scholarship open until the following season. Or give Maisie a semester. I’d be stupid to leave that schollie open. |

I acknowledge this). Rumor has it that Landfair is choosing Wisconsin. I heard rumors that she was looking at Nebraska—I just don’t see it with Krause/Battenhorst/Pierce in the wings. We have stellar players and the best Opp in the nation. The program is arguably going into next season as a deserved top 4 team in the nation. |

I acknowledge this). Keep your head up buddy! *big husker hug* We just had a stellar season with a bunch of freshmen in the team. The good news is : we can enjoy them again next season! This season it was : they're freshmen but they're competitive. Next season it will be : they're competitive and they lost a finale. There's going to be some genuine firecrackers on that court! And I can't wait! I'm so excited about this team! |
