That Husker volleyball loss on Sunday felt like the failed 2 point conversion in the 1983 Orange Bowl. That was very very painful as a Husker fan. At least the good part out of the volleyball loss is that all the players are going to return. The football loss began the string of bowl losses to Florida teams that were quite painful until the 90s.

Whit heading to Texas is genuinely/objectively hilarious. Hollywood couldn’t have scripted it better. Given her animosity that’s exactly where she belongs. Let’s cool it calling players personal names. She didn’t like Cook as have many players in the past, and many players haven’t liked their coach for whatever reason since beginning of time. You going off against Kayla Caffey stating that she felt loved at Texas is a positive thing and it’s great she found a good fit. Same with Lexi Sun, it appeared she has more happy at Nebraska than Texas.

Dude don’t be obnoxious. Nebraska was the best team all year except when it truly mattered. They’re going to be a contender for years to come with the young players they have.

And when they behave badly let’s call it what it is. Do you think coddling players does any good? Do you think excusing bad behavior is a positive thing? I don’t.

What were the words exactly?” Welcome to the team that can actually win championships” that comment is low class. I think the saddest thing is Nebraska nation was not only really great to Caffeybut they were also really great to Whitney. Both have been very public and their dislike of both John Cook in the Nebraska program. But yet you think they should be coddled despite their comments and somehow protected despite their behavior. Sorry, I think like every other high profile athlete they need to learn to live with their remarks. That’s called growing up and life.

There is a nationwide epidemic of women making unfounded, unsupported and downright ungrateful social media post about men. And you are just the person to solve that problem🫡 Besides after all…

No Kayla said ‘welcome to the side where we win Championships and get loved on at the same time’ your quote is incorrect and you’re trying to make it sound more offensive then it was. If you’re triggered by her actual quote than good luck to you. Won’t deny there is some slight shade there. I don’t think you can say that Nebraska was really great to Caffey and Whitney because you are not them. You have no idea what goes on from the inside. You just don’t and I would never want to silence someone from their own experience. Let’s not pretend Cook has not had pretty horrible encounters with players in the past.

With all this talk about players leaving NE and going to Texas, just wanted to remind everyone that Andi was all about Texas until going to a camp there and was unhappy with her experience.

I may have missed this... there was a lot of talk about the 2023 freshman coming in January and having that extra time to bond.
When will Pierce & Mauch be arriving on campus?

I feel like the B1G commentators mentioned that Houghtelling apparently had major influence in getting Jackson to go to Nebraska as CH worked at the club that Jackson was playing for in Colorado. There's also an article in the Lincoln Journal Star in 2022 that talks about this as well.
