I yearn for the day where we can simply talk about an athlete's game, rather than try to dissect their personal life, based on a fan's interpretation of a small tattoo Idk. Part of bringing mental health awareness into D1 sports is understanding these athletes are more than just the sport they play. They’re allowed, and in recent years, encouraged to share with fans different aspects of their lives. Getting a clearly symbolic tattoo in a visible spot is part of bringing that awareness to fans, imho Honestly it’s a tough space to navigate for everyone.

TV schedule does not show any TV for the Sept.22 match with Louisville at Yum Center. Hope that is wrong. How could that not be televised? Maybe ACC network?

some of these practice drills seem kinda weird to me. Like, what is the point of them playing more or less down balls to Bergen, having an actual Nebraska player take the second contact, but with a guy attacking the ball at a block that is also full of guys? Like what are they trying to practice? Or standing inside the court to practice serves?....hmmmmm

I wonder why Choboy was not at practice on Day 1? She's in the shot six times in like the first minute...
Ope. That was Maisie.

Similar to football teams not being in pads the first few days. Let the body acclimate to increased intensity. OOS setting and block coverage seem relevant enough, low risk drills. Not certain on the traffic barrel drill, could be a way to work on serving seam without full approach. I'd equate it to a pitcher throwing from the grass instead of the mound. Plus, Cook's out of town so he probably didn't want them doing too much outside of his watchful eyes.

They know what they’re doing in the gym.
