I'm sure I just missed this earlier, but I saw that the Neb-Maryland game will be played in the main basketball arena. So most likely another program-record crowd for the opposing team. Yea. In the past I could get $6 tickets for Maryland - Nebraska, this year $20. But all the seats are listed general admission, so there won’t be a good idea of how many tickets are sold until the day of the game. In the side gym the crowd was usually about 75-25 Nebraska. It will be interesting to see how many turn out this year in the bigger place — lots of Nebraska fans in the DC area, but Lincoln area fans who travel that weekend will probably go to State College for the more important match. I got a couple of 1st row floor seats at $50 each. I was at the October 18 USC/MD match and was talking to someone who works in the ticket office and if I remember correctly I believe he said either 5500 tickets had been sold or they were hoping to sell about 5500. Can't remember which. Either way a new record. The XFINITY Center holds 17,950. The attendance at the 2019 Nebraska/MD sellout at The XFINITY Center Pavilion was 2225. (I believe this is the record) Side note about the USC match, In the introductions Ally got the loudest applause including the MD players.

I was at both the 2019 and 2022 matches, and they called both sell outs, though the attendance in 2022 was listed at 2133. But 2225 is the Pavillion record. In 2014, they played Penn State on the arena, and 4522 attended, which is the record to beat.

With so many ds-es on the team, do you think anyone will transfer/decommit?

With so many ds-es on the team, do you think anyone will transfer/decommit? Depends on if Choboy is fine playing 3 rotations her entire college career...

I couldn’t help but notice this week’s VT 25 second ranked Huskers have beaten VT’s ## 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 23 and 25. (Losing only to 8).

Depends on if Choboy is fine playing 3 rotations her entire college career... given that Laney chose to come knowing she wouldn’t get the chance for two years, and also that she’s had to compete against Mauch in NTDP teams, I’m actually wondering if she’ll stay and try to win the jersey. I think it would be hard to transfer at this point given the work she’s put in, and the current legacy of being the Nebraska libero

The B1G weekly participation awards embarrassed themselves again… evidently playing mediocre teams at home gets awarded over playing future tournament teams on the road. . ,. It’s a joke… Hudson had no standing to get the award this week…

Where/how does Keri Leimbech (probably misspelled that) stack with Choboy, Mauch, Maisie, and whoever else they have?

are most players on a full ride scholarship or is it just the starters who are full ride, and the rest are partial?
I know Maisie started as a walk-on so probably not scholarshipped the first year, but in her sophomore junior year, I wonder if she was able to earn some form of a ship...unless its contracted in that she wouldnt get $$ during her 4 years.

Currently 12 are on full scholarship, and that is all that is allowed. The other two are undoubtedly, receiving NIL in one form or another. After this year, the rules will almost certainly change

Maisie makes plenty of money as an influencer. The rest I would guess have at least partial 2/2 scholarships My assessment for next year: Mauch, Choboy, Limbach, Boesinger

I bet laney leaves, she seems like the type who is not okay being a DS forever. Also, noticed she was the only person on the team to not do a group halloween costume, the other sophomores all did a group one besides her. Obviously that seems like a silly thing t olook at but I bet there is something there. bet socially she feels on the outside
Or I could be a drama queen and it means nothing

I for sure know a few teams who are losing their lib and could make a spot for her, but at the same time, she's made her connections at Neb, NIL, boyfriend... not sure how she's doing academically but hopefully well enough to transfer.. see you at penn state?!

Seems to me her passing has improved while there, and it seems likely that coaching has had something to do with it. Regardless, it's hard to imagine she wouldn't be getting coaching on this, especially when you consider how much John Cook values it.

That’s elite.
