is there some reason you think she's not getting coached on serve receive at Nebraska? Seems to me her passing has improved while there, and it seems likely that coaching has had something to do with it. Regardless, it's hard to imagine she wouldn't be getting coaching on this, especially when you consider how much John Cook values it. Laney is passing 2.36, 64.7 GP% over the last ten matches. That’s elite. Right like what?! She’s literally a better passer than 99 percent of other team’s best passer 😭. Most people’s faves could literally never 👀 |

The B1G weekly participation awards embarrassed themselves again… evidently playing mediocre teams at home gets awarded over playing future tournament teams on the road. . ,. It’s a joke… Hudson had no standing to get the award this week… they're going out of their way to avoid too many Nebraska awards, it's kind of obvious. |

Laney is elite. Hope she doesn't leave. I actually think she wins the libero job. Her passing is pretty good right now. Her defense is also too good right now. We will need her and mauch next season. I think mauch will ds ..... but who knows. |

One libero is a better passer, the other doesn’t let a ball drop. Could be like what Wisconsin tried at the beginning of the year. Don’t see it happening but honestly, the duo of Choboy and Mauch would be better suited for that situation than just about any pair in the country |

No reason for Cook to name any starter at libero in the 2025 season until well into August fall camp. 2 libero setup would not work because they can not be on the floor together. They would be a pretty dynamic duo together. Knuckles gave up the libero jersey to Lexi and stayed the next 2 years and still had a big role. Her injury tanked the 2022 season.

If Cook was serious when he said Lani is worth 2-3 points a set by just her presence on the court with the energy and fire she provides, not even accounting for her insane floor defense, then you can't count her out to win the job in 2025. Now if her passing was really a big downgrade, that would a different story, but that is not the case as of now.

I couldn’t help but notice this week’s VT 25 second ranked Huskers have beaten VT’s ## 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 23 and 25. (Losing only to 8). Not gonna lie. That seems good. |

I bet laney leaves, she seems like the type who is not okay being a DS forever. Also, noticed she was the only person on the team to not do a group halloween costume, the other sophomores all did a group one besides her. Obviously that seems like a silly thing t olook at but I bet there is something there. bet socially she feels on the outside Or I could be a drama queen and it means nothing Maybe no one else was excited about being a bag of cheetos  |
