What’s interesting to me is that UNC hasn’t followed anyone else in the portal except for this initial group. You’d think they’d follow other potential players in case that first group didn’t commit to UNC. At a minimum, they need to be focusing on a setter. Can’t expect Zoe to go a whole season without a second setter on the roster. Perhaps a few of the players already had some feelers out letting the UNC coaching staff know they’re interested? Def not smart for coaching staff to put all their eggs in one basket though. On a diff side note- anyone know why Babic wanted to leave? I wasn’t expecting her to throw her name into the TP at all. I answered you in the TP Tea thread…. Just my opinion is that she either wanted something more competitive and/or just didn’t like the new coaching direction. I don’t think it was about playing time. She played really well at the end of the season and seemed happy on the court. I didn’t expect her to go either 🤷♂️ |

Can’t expect Zoe to go a whole season without a second setter on the roster. Pretty sure they have a 24 setter coming in but would be wise to shore up with a Grad for sure. Our 24s are Julia Bohlinger (L/DS), Erin Curtis (OH/DS), and Jackie Taylor (MB). Bohlinger and Taylor have already signed and been announced on social. Did we add a setter along the way? |

Now seems Delaynie Maple is following most of the team. Between us and one other school.
Would be huge get for our back row. 4x Beach All American. Close to Julia Scoles

Yep. She is a great player. And if she comes now she’ll hopefully have enough time to adjust to indoor in one semester

Someone posted on the transfer tea thread that Nolan may end up in Cincinnati… is that an upgrade from UNC? 🤔

I guess that makes sense, it's only 20 minutes away from her hometown. Romani also went home... I wonder if Babic will end up at Arizona or Arizona State.

Cincy big issue this past year was at OH. They lost both starting OHs to injury within like a month into the season this year. |

Times have obviously changed. |
