2024 UNC Volleyball Season



UNC 2023 Season Stats: Overall 13-14 , Conference: 7-11: Final Standings 11th (picked 6th)


Season Hitting Percentage: .209 9th in ACC
Kills/Set: 12.53 9th in ACC
Blocks/Set: 2.10 10th in ACC
Services Aces: 1.56 6th in ACC
Opponent Blocks: 2.52 DEAD LAST in ACC


UNC suffers first losing season since 2018. New coaching staff and player development did not go well and resulted in a worse than anticipated finish. UNC finished with a poor record despite challenging several of the top tier teams. UNC loses more freshmen talent to the portal and will desperately need the freshmen and portal transfers to step up and make an impact.

Strengths: Power on LS Pin, Strong service game

Weaknesses and needs to be addressed: RS Offense, having more balanced offense and defense out of middle, need to drastically improve serve receive and defense. Consistent Setting.

6-3 RS FR from Ohio State. Was second on the team in kills this season as an OH but I’m assuming she’ll be on the right for us?

Went back and forth RS and OH.. cannot pass but has a nice shot selection.

Then let’s hope she’s playing right! We already have enough passing problems!

I like it when you know that it is definitive. No fooling around trying to make her a passer or play back row D. Just go find a good DS if you don't already have one.

So who do yall think Schall and staff will go after next? Setter is probably the biggest need imo then middle.
