Rachel Jepsen is going on an lds mission in Paris, and will be gone 18 months, so this season and next season. I'm expecting for this season, Pitt will once again be in the transfer market for a MB. Not that I don't think the two freshman wont be ready to go in August, but we need the depth now. are you not anticipating bre to be healthy? I'm pretty sure he's talking about in addition to Kelley. Without her, they have no experienced MB on the roster. 2 of 3 MB being true frosh and the third coming off a season ending injury surely isn't the best position to be in for a team trying to stake a claim as among the very best in the country. |

I read them as saying the 2 freshman’s are the only options at middle. I guess i can look at that depth chart and say okay we have something to work with but also yeah… who’s in the portal. |

It's just last year, we needed all four MB's on the roster. We're at 3 right now. |

It's definitely something to look at, but it's not the end of the world if they dont. Both freshman got there in the spring and Pitt is great at developing middles. Nebraska and Louisville both had 3 middles last year with little starting experience and those were strongpoints for both programs Could the late addition of that foreign MB (from Argentina?) have been in order to replace Jepsen? That was kind of a late addition right or had she been committed for a long time? I'd be shocked if Fischer hasn't known about Jepsens plans for some time now |

I sometimes wonder if VVG could change up her armswing mechanics mid game/does already... using both styles could be interesting on the court for plays but maybe also give the commentators something new to talk about during video replays lol

Blaire Bayless has the potential to be very good if she receives more playing time. I think this will be her chance especially with Jepson out for 2024.
