Good for Greeny and good for West Virginia… I’m planning to get over there to see the new Mountaineers. Sometimes they play The Naval Academy at which point I can see them. |

Stop making fun of WVU, Morgantown, and the state of West Virginia!!! Here is a Google street view of the front entrance 1 to the WVU Coliseum, where the vb team plays their matches. To the right of the entrance is a statue of WVU's famous alum Jerry West. West, for those of you who are ignorant fools, is an NBA legend and played college ball at WVU in the 1950s. That's right. That dude actually made a conscious decision to play basketball at WVU!!!! 2 --- 1 I'm assuming that's the front entrance. Why would they put a statue of Jerry West in a back entrance? 2 Of course, he was born and raised in West Virginia, so... |

WVU also had a shortfall of 45 Million dollars and a president who had been an itinerant snake oil salesman. He has gutted much of the academics at WVU, and he is determined to continue on his crusade to turn WVU into a trade school. Any coach who says they aren’t going anywhere has no idea what their future actually holds and should be taken with a grain of salt. None of us know where we’ll be working in a couple years. I’m not sure why anyone ever thinks differently. |
