Phoebe deserves this, don’t take that away from us! I don't think that's what he's suggesting Setter A - 11.9 aps (TEAM: .268), 3.8 dps Setter B - 12.1 aps (TEAM: .258), 2.7 dps Setter C - 11.5 aps (TEAM: .392), 1.00 bps, 3.00 dps Which do you pick? A - Bergen Reilly B - Izzy Starck (FRESHMAN) C - Melani Shaffmaster

When was that a primary setter statistic?

When was that a primary setter statistic? Whoever picks these awards hates Mel. She’s had some incredible matches and keeps getting overlooked.

Big Ten awards, Oct 14, 2024: OPOW: Mimi Colyer, Oregon DPOW: Phoebe Awoleye, Minnesota SOW: Bergen Reilly, Nebraska FOW: Izzy Starck, Penn State I need to look at Reilly stats but I think Mel definitely deserves it. Oh well...

The one who beat a top 10 opponent. You're not allowed to cheat like that on a blind resume! (rofl) My greater point is that setter stats don't really matter all that much. Rachel Fairbanks is behind a whole bunch of setters in assists/set because Pitt is 4th in the country in aces per set and 17th in blocks per set so she doesn't get as many opportunities for assists. What matters is being subjectively good and leading your team to quality wins. Whichever setter has done that gets the nod.

Oh well... Seriously? Just the competition alone favored Reilly. Reilly had more assists/set and more dig/set. These weekly awards mean little to nothing. Maybe they mean more to someone like Shaffmaster because if things continue as they are she won't make any of the season ending all-B1G awards lists-she certainly isn’t even one of the top six or seven best B1G setters. 🏐

The one who beat a top 10 opponent. You're not allowed to cheat like that on a blind resume! People in blind resume challenges often put together what matches their agendas.

Well I obviously need to do that more because whenever I do your Bracketology blind resumes, I'm always like "huh points were made!" when I see who's who at the bottom.

I just copied and pasted all the setters that were listed in the Big ten POW post, to be fair. I just didn't post Charlie/Jenna because their stats weren't as good as the three I did post. Edit: ok, I didn't post the opponents, because then that wouldn't have been a blind choice.
