With football and MBB eating up most of the revenue money, we are going to find out which schools can field competitive squads. Nebraska is the only one who's shown they can actually make money. The gap between the top teams and the has-beens is about to widen. As part of the overall TV package and the third most watched sport on BTN, Volleyball's position won't be as bad as most other college sports.

The expectations are high because of the results on the court, the record of the head coach, and the high recruiting. None of your examples can match Nebraska in any of those categories recently. Penn State could a few years ago, and - surprise! We all had high expectations for them until Russ retired. wisconsin is the only team to finish in the top five the last five years. Their winning percentage is better as well overthe last five years. I eouldnt argue that nebraska leads the pack overall, but you said recently so.... But Wisconsin wasn't one of his examples...

That's...... interesting. Does EE think that Madi Skinner plays in the Big Ten? Otherwise, she has Booth about 8-9 spots higher than I certainly thought was reasonable. Out of all of the Big Ten players who participated in the Final Six tournament, Booth would have been the least-impressive, if not for Taylor Landfair.

Booth being top 3 as a low-production type middle is weird to me, but hey, it ain't my list.

Booth had great efficiency numbers and blocks per set stats last year. She deserves to be on the list.
It's just top 3 I'd question.

The only player in the Big Ten who has been #1 at her position since entering college, will be a 4-time AA, and even played a role in 2 other top 12 players transferring to Nebraska (so they could play with her).
