POLY's road trip into Alabama,...play Auburn, FSU and Troy. Coach Walters starting to play her freshmen recruits,...Beshear, Leluge & Hurriyet. Kate Slack and Lizzy Markovska did not travel. Miss Chole Leluge seemed to be active on offense and is efficient so far hitting .400 against some quality teams! I look to see Chole Leluge getting a lot more playing time during the next 3 NC matches. How serious are the injuries to Kate Slack and Lizzy Markovska??? Amy Hiatt is back from her early season difficulties. Why is CAL POLY having so many players receiving injuries from practice??? |

ok, I take back what I previously said about Cal Poly, they're not looking like the favorite to win the BW.
I think Hawaii is tops and UCSB is close behind

Anyone! call Walters dude! she was holding her upper leg in pain leaving the Arkansas match. She had looked awesome before that, most improved player on the team. that's just life. unfortunate but that stuff happens every year. Beach lost Agi in the spring. Beach lost their back-up MB. maybe the frosh or Juco will learn fast, but doubtful, it's not that easy |

Considering what they had to replace, hard to not consider them a contendor. |

Since Markovska was left home recuperating during the Alabama trip,...maybe
she will be on board for the tournament in the desert.
Fingers remain crossed.
Either way Kendall Beshear true fr. showing well.

Good luck. Stockham is having her Las Vegas Homecoming so may be she'll be fired up and carry the mustangs to victory.
Mean while UCI will also play in a big but winnable non-conference match against another Mountain West foe in undefeated Wyoming.

Agree these NC matches are winnable,...and frankly are important if the RPI means anything for conference play. CAL POLY's early season injury problems may be unavoidable, but, they still hurt. Big question will Lizzy M. be playing tonight??? |

Just like Cal Poly defeated UNLV, UC Irvine defeated Wyoming.
I HAD A FEELING both Cal Poly and UCI would get a Massey top 50 win this weekend.
