Keep Charlotte in your thoughts and prayers.
Last update was that she is progressing but still has a long recovery ahead of her. She is still in the hospital as her lungs and kidneys heal and still require some breathing support and dialysis. She has started some PT.

Does anyone have the complete list of the 2025 recruiting class rankings from PrepVB?

Back on topic 17/18 open Girls Club, what’s new? The Prep Dig Gauntlet is this weekend. There will be lots of strong competition at the 17-open level....Circle City, MKE Sting, MI Elite, Sports Performance, Northern Lights, Rockwood Thunder, etc.

Hotel prices for Summerfest are way too expensive. Summerfest is also the only JVA tournament for some clubs and they no longer accept USAV background checks or SafeSport. So coaches have to double up on that stuff for one tournament. All that to say this tournament in Milwaukee, or other Midwest tourneys in early June might get a little bigger next year.

Glad to hear PT is getting involved early - preserving strength and function is key to a quick recovery. The whole volleyball community is pulling for her.

Summerfest includes some top 25 clubs that were not at Bluegrass this season. That list includes Legacy, Metro, Mintonette, and AVC.
On the other hand, Muncie and Tribe do not attend Summerfest.
Give and take a couple clubs but still both are very strong events that both include KIVA, Tri-State, NKYVC, Elevation, etc.

Summerfest is a great tournament in terms of competition and dates. 15, 16, and 17 Open all have power pools so the top teams are getting two solid days of Nationals prep. But if there is another tournament available in early June within driving distance and the competition is comparable, Summerfest would lose some of its appeal.

Didn't apply to 17s...but I really wish the Prep Dig Gauntlet didn't have 4 open court time early in the day, and 4 5:00 PM matches scheduled... pretty rough when you have 6 hour drive....

AAU kicked off today. Only 7 teams in 18Open! Is this division going to die off after this year?

The Premier division is at 27 and I believe there are the Club and Classic have another 172 teams. So still a healthy tournament for 18s.
