UConn is up to #49 in RPI. They're about to host St. John's and if they win - their RPI is going to jump up even more.

Emma Werkmeister is out again for UConn. St. John's is starting out with Erin Jones setting - they've moved Stambrowska to OPP. I imagine Kowalczyk will come in when Erin Jones goes front row - and they will use Erin as a S/OPP. They usually don't start out like this though, so, interesting to see. St. John's up 5-0 in the 1st set because it's St. John's The announcers on FLO just said that JoJo told them before the match don't mess up her last name (Persico) because her 87 year old mother is watching and she's gonna complain about it LOL (The Providence announcers messed it up a few times but sometimes people say "Perisco" instead)

SJU-UConn heating up. Tied 1-1, 7-6 in the 3rd. I really like Taylor Pannell. Also, Paige Bueckers is in the building

Quick shout out to Marquette who managed a reverse sweep against DePaul last night and kept their hopes of making the NCAA tournament alive.

UConn wins 15-12 in the 5th vs. St. John's.
This was an entertaining match. Some big digs/blocks down the stretch. I was impressed with UConn from a defensive standpoint - and of course Pannell.
What disappoints me most about UConn's schedule is they didn't even try to get one decent win in the non-conference. Literally 0 Top 100 teams as of right now in RPI....
