Happy Valentines day everyone! Looking forward to going to this game this evening. Obviously the big story will be the return of Cole Ketrzynski to UCLA, should be exciting. Here's to hoping that Speraw rotates the lineup a bit (even if not in the first set) as the team settles into league play and the season ticks on. I don't really have any other notes, other than that Trey Cole is good and that's cool I'd love a good libero.

Just too much competition when he was with UCLA. I was looking ahead on the ESPN+ app and they have match #2 this Saturday at 8:00AM PT when UCLA plays at Pepperdine. Should be a starting time of 2:00PM PT if I’m not mistaken. |

I am happy about this match-up. Great to see Cole on the court. He was an All-MPSF player in 2021, All American in 2021, and the top player coming out of Canada in 2019. It's fun to see former roommates compete - Knight, McHenry, Ket. Glad to see Winder leading Pepperdine.

Does Sloane start over David tonight…? I say start Sloane and keep playing him until the other team slow him down. He's been playing with more quickness and agility than David over the course of the season, especially in backrow defense. |
