nothing to defend. no excuses. it's pretty clear you have it 'in' for Beach. typical Hawaii locust response for something you really don't have a clue about. like Hawaii's sh*t doesn't ever stink, lol. it's pretty clear you want to make it an axe to grind about Beach with the response, when you really have zero clue cause you weren't there. Beach won, they celebrated after some Euro-trash antics all match. but go ahead and make a big deal bout it. just laughing out of you trying to make a mountain out of a very little. Both sides are to blame and the refs should have had it under control. For Long Beach, Bouchkov and Siapanis were too much for too long of that comeback. For SB, Cordt, Aruya, and especially Collins were chirpy. Collins needs to learn his place and shut up. Alan and Rick should have shut that down. Looking forward to robonthemic and the boys discuss this. i wouldnt be surprised if Knipe shows up in the podcast to tell his side just like he did after he and Charlie Wade got into a screaming contest in 2021 |

Regardless of whose fault it was, it’s extremely unprofessional for coaches to engage in fights and screaming across the court. The NCAA should be involved in this and reprimand both parties.

No the NCAA should not be involved in this. what the Big West should do is the following: Siapanis should be given a reprimand McLaughlin should be given a reprimand Pyschosub should be given a reprimand, and only that lenient because his oblivious coach did squat about 2 hours of that crap & clown act |

Having watched the end of 5th set, Bouchkov was seen yelling across the net after his match winning block. Siapanis took off his jersey and was waiving it while he was running around and even went to the UCSB’s side of the court.
Regardless of who started it, these actions are extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and CLASSLESS. They already won the match, no need to rub it in.
I can’t wait for Hawaii to face these two next week and see if these two would even dare to repeat their acts.
Also that number 8 UCSB heckler looks like a drunkard.

Anyone have a PhD in lip reading? At what point does all this drama start? I don’t wanna watch the whole match lol Just watch the 5th. Keep an eye on the SB bench and Aruya and then Bouchkov and Siapanis for LB. Watch them all during the in/out challenge late in the 5th. |

Siapanis jaunt, puuuhleeeeze the guy is celebrating a win along the stands. the clown comic who has been barking at him all match goes out and faces him, so Siapanis points his finger back. not classless at all. get real. yeah, it wasn't bright. if an opposing player is being a jackass for 2 hours and barking at you and pointing at you, an extended celebration in that case is hardly classless in the context again, people basing reactions to the Beach overreaction and basing their judgement soley on that one video segment, not having witnessed the crap that went on, are being naive. if you think Hawaii players that get jawed at for an entire match by a twit are not gonna celebrate a bit more than usual, then you are kidding yourselves about MVB players in general and being naive. I can see where anyone watching just the end video would get all twisted about it and pontificate. well too bad, they weren't there. SB didn't deserve any respect in that situation, zip, nada. McLaughlin & SB maybe should consider to run things professionally. Doesn't excuse any Beach player, who don't need an excuse anyway. As I've said before, so much crap in sports behaviour has afflicted UCSB that doesn't occur at other venues. I've seen it so many times, it's the most trashy type attitude environment in the Big West. |
