I didn’t know there were so many snowflakes in Hawai’i. lol I mean it's a college career ending injury. ACE I always appreciate his thoughts and input over the years. I guess seeing it only shows how gruesome it really was and how we truly feel for Chakas because he has worked so tremendously hard over the years and specifically this his senior year. |

I don’t know why you all are getting so worked up about seeing the injury… lol like yea it’s tough but it’s not even as bad as others that are out there.
Best wishes to Spyros and his recovery, LBSU and the NCAA field in general really lucked out not having to face that Greek Demon on the court.

However, that picture just isn't needed tbh. If people want to view it, it can easily be seen on YT if they look it up. But showing the actual picture of him landing and his leg being distorted just isn't right. And like I said ACE intention was never to harm but to inform people. But the picture is just too much on this board tbh. |

Other posters, including myself, just asked that it be taken down. It was unnecessary to post the photo "in order to provide context" when I'm pretty sure that anyone who has played sports can understand that an season-ending injury probably resulted from an unfortunate incident. |

lol, maybe take this injury video drama to the Hawaii board, so people view it, bfd, those that don't don't have to watch it.
besides, it's not really gruesome at all, sheesh cmon, yeah it's unfortunate and injuries happen, and just shows how much these guys push the limits with their athleticsm.
it's just unfortunate - still gonna be a great matchup, all the teams and fans were looking forward to see Chakas with how much even more he's elevated his play this year, and the mini Greece vs. Cyprus match within the match.

But idk i think i see so many sports injuries on the daily it may just be me underreacting. I can see where others would be more squeamish. I think for Spyros’ sake, all of us Hawaii fans are better off letting the man close his UH chapter in peace and putting our energy behind whoever comes in to replace his production. Which is going to be incredibly tough, the guy could step close to literally any ball and make a swing out of it. Not a ton of hitters with that level of confidence |

I've seen worse in person. So yes, I agree that it's not as bad as something like Thaisa (I believe in 2017), where her foot was literally perpendicular. I also agree that it's better to let Chakas close his UH chapter in peace. |
