With their spring match with Minnesota approaching, I figured it would be a good time to start their thread.
I apologize if this was done already.
Friday should be fun, especially with so much homegrown talent on both sides of the net.
Going off of old rosters there could be as many as 20 Minnesota athletes participating on Friday.
I'm also excited to see how St. Thomas has progressed and grown as a program.

I thought last night was a good showing for the Tommies.
Their setter Keya Luta Win Hunt stood out to me, but I've also been following her career from way back.
She has always, imo, been one of the best setters in the state for her age group but has often been overlooked, especially in club circles.
Overall I'm seeing the growth happening. They need to continue to play teams that will push them.
Not sure if they can rise to middle of the pack in the Summit, but I wouldn't be surprised.

If it helps to piece together St. Thomas' non-conference schedule, they are at UW-Milwaukee's tournament Sept 13-15. Looks like they'll play UW-Milwaukee, lllinois St and Iowa there. |

Once UST gets their new arena built -- which old NIMBY's will be powerless to stop -- and put up some more success in the Summit, I have to think they will catch the Big East's eye.
Not saying soon, but maybe within 10 years? Have to see what happens with the Big East and the new reorganization of the NCAA.

Once UST gets their new arena built -- which old NIMBY's will be powerless to stop -- and put up some more success in the Summit, I have to think they will catch the Big East's eye. Once the arena is built I would like to see them put some money into making the current one a more “volleyball” facility. Update the locker rooms add a team room and get a teraflex court possibly take down the middle scoreboard. |

Could keep the wood floor underneath the Teraflex for occasional basketball use as needed.
Don't know what their middle scoreboard is like, but there are versions that can be suspended by cables, then dropped down and disconnected. So it could be installed for bball and taken out for vball.
