It's been the "let's keep the ball away from the middles" by Tread offense. Lol

Most definitely. We've been spoiled the last few years with winning. Hard pill to swallow but it is what it is.

Hawaii hit .204 to UCI's .425.
There was a sizable discrepancy in blocking with UCI going 10-3 against Hawaii. Hawaii committed 8 unforced hitting errors to UCI's 5 and 11 service errors to the Anteater's 13.
Henno led UCI with 20 kills hitting .679!
Alaka'i led the Warriors with 10 kills hitting .333.
A valiant effort by the Warriors but they were way out-classed this evening.
Hilir is fabulous but Shewie has elevated this team! I love seeing a strong Anteater team. Regardless, I am always proud of the Hawaii teams, especially the 2024 Warriors who are learning every step of the way. This was going to be a tough match with or without Spyros.

Congrats UCI. Just sad for Hawaii with the injuries this season. It’ll take a miracle to get them to post-season, which is by winning the BWCT.

Glad shewie got to set at UCI. I understand why Charlie went with the young gun instead....but as tough as these losses are....I know they will be beneficial for some of those young players for us in the years to come. So it bites for sure. But it will reap its rewards in the next few seasons.

I have a feeling Hawaii won't make it to the finals of the BWT. Not when there's Long Beach, Irvine, and CSUN hungry.
