I feel for Harper and at the spotlight that she has brought to herself by her actions. There is going to be a consequences and unfortunately any higher profile athlete has to sign up for the good and the bad. I would like to see her use this dose of humble pie to further her character development and learn from it all. She did not come across well at the final and quite arrogant for a freshman. No one wants to be front page news but if you have to be front page news hopefully you have not presented yourself as being all things to all people. That being said I am rooting for her this season and shall let the legal system take care of the rest of the judgement. I love her on the court and I hope that the masses will give her a chance to show who she really is with time and patience. What makes you think she isn’t who she’s telling and showing us who she is? You think she’s someone else? C- |

She’s earned a spot on the wall of shame next to Lauren cook, Micaya White, and Kelly Hunter Those are the ones that (a) got caught and (b) whose teams weren't able (or willing) to keep it out of the newspapers. There were multiple players, including first-team A-As, whose schools were able to keep it out of the papers. P. S. Don't ask. |

IMO this thread is kept alive by pitiful people without a life. The only thing that brings them a bit of escape from their own pitiful life is to criticize others. Makes them feel superior, I suspect.
