Very interesting to see that there will two teams (Middlebury and Ill. Wesleyan) playing for the regional final tomorrow who would not have received an at-large bid had they not won their conference championships
Long live the underdog!

I hate to be boring, but all of the 1 seeds were 1s for a reason. Only three #2 seeds left. Not saying that there won't be some drama, but I think I'm seeing chalk on Saturday.

CNU and W&L split during the season, I can see CNU, who has been hot taking that one...really impressive win over a really good team last night

Congratulations to LaVerne, who claim the title of "Best Team in New England" after pretty handily beating the best teams in the NESCAC (Colby) and NEWMAC (MIT).

Laverne looked good but Middlebury won the NESCAC and fell to Juniata tonight. Lots of sweeps and thought there may be more competitive ones tonight. Got a week and a half to get ready for the next round of d3 vb.

Congratulations to LaVerne, who claim the title of "Best Team in New England" after pretty handily beating the best teams in the NESCAC (Colby) and NEWMAC (MIT). La Verne had a great night and the Ray sisters were awesome but I wouldn’t get too far over my skis. I’m sure that MIT would be quite happy with a rematch and the smart money would be on them once again. Colby had a great year but Middlebury is arguably the best NESCAC team. They went through a really ugly patch but in the end they beat Colby for the NESCAC championship then dispatched Salisbury and Gettysburg without much effort. Gabby O'Toole, Molly Harrison, and Annabella Rando demonstrated why they were the Region POY, NESCAC POY and NESCAC DPOY respectively but they weren't enough when facing a team like Juniata.
