USA got a free pass... don't screw it up boys. FREE PASS?? We lost to Argentina on our own home soil last VNL and they swept us out of Tokyo. We've gone 5 with Japan multiple times and they've upgraded their personnel. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves again! |

USA got a free pass... don't screw it up boys. Hmm not sure if I agree. This Argentina squad beat USA and we also know what the last squad did in Tokyo. Germany could get hot with Grozer going off. And Japan can be dangerous if they light it up at the service line. It’s hard to tell what kind of peak USA A team will bring, which is either scary or exciting lol. |

USA should be fine to get out of the group as long as they are healthy. Has there been any word on Jaeschke and Russell?

If the USA can continue to build off the progress they were making during the VNL then I think they should be in good shape for this pool. Sweeping ARG in week 1 and beating Germany without Russell or Jaeschke are positive signs. But anything can happen. I’m sure the team knows better than to get complacent this time around.

I think Pool A is the toughest, C the easiest. USA should win the pool as long as their mental game is there. Japan I could see faltering, but depends on the matchup as well, for now I have them as second in that pool. |

There is no reason the USA should win their pool, or at least finish 2nd. As Argentina can be troublesome of the USA at times. But, anything less would be ridiculous
