When Danielle Scott went to her fifth -- fifth! -- Olympics in 2012 and didn't get to be flag bearer, well, I figured it's never gonna happen with a volleyball player.

I guess LeBron makes sense. This will be his last Olympics. Zero percent chance they'd pick any volleyball player over him. As much as I personally don't care for him (he and JJ Reddick are absolutely perfect for each other with the dysfunctional Lakers), I can't really argue against his selection.
