Nebraska has had a target on their backs three years running. The only time I've seen them succumb to the "pressure" these past three seasons was the finals against Washington two seasons ago. To paraphrase a certain football coach: Nebraska volleyball doesn't feel pressure, they apply pressure. The "pressure" for this match is a pittance compared to the pressure from last season.

For the benefit of all the VT members, Nebraska needs to win. If Hawaii (by some weird fluke) would win, VT members would NEVER hear the end of it from the Hawaii fans. But when Nebraska wins, Husker fans will just drop it and it will be just another game ... YEAH RIIIIIGHT!!! I promise to stop all Hawaii fans from gloating _too_ much if Hawaii wins.

Should Hawaii win this match (highly doubtfull they take one game in my mind) Hawaii's fans, in my mind, are entitled to revel in the victory. While I think some of the Hawaii supporters on this board are a bit over the top, I admire their steadfast, unwavering, zealous, never give up--never surrender attitude.

Of course that scenery does look a little like that Ocean front property in Nebraska that I won as mentioned above my avatar.

The "pressure" for this match is a pittance compared to the pressure from last season. why would they feel "pressured" in 2005 by Washington? Washington WAS the better team that year, throughout the entire year. Nebraska was mega talented but still young, UW was also mega talented but far more experienced.
