From my unofficial stats of watching that link, Deeke had 14 kills, 4 errors, on 26 swings.
That's a .385 hitting percentage, which is pretty good for club volleyball, considering about 4 of his swings were terrible plays where he was just getting the ball over.
In the third game, he had 6 kills, 2 errors, on 10 swings. That's a .400 hitting percentage. So I was a little mistaken earlier, when I mentioned that I didn't think he had a hitting error. They were early in the game, he got blocked and hit one out. But 6 kills in a game to 15 is pretty darn good. That's half of his teams points.
For the match:
14 kills, .385 clip, 4.67 kills a game.
(I'm really bored today)

not sure what your obsession is with deeke, but it doesn't matter what his stats were bc they lost...

Obviously dude. Illinois didn't step it up, when they always have the talent. The looks on their faces were like "here we go again."
I'm just proving wrong the notion that "Deeke choked again."
I was watching the game online anyway, so keeping track of his stats wasn't that hard.
In other news, I liked what the freshman outside on Illinois brought to the table. Especially in the Oshkosh match.

The freshman outside definitely brought his A game.. I was a bit surprised that they didn't have the tall middle playing in the Oshkosh match.

word on the street is he got some kind of bad bug and the night before he was puking and all that fun stuff that comes along with being sick, and idk if this is true but rumor has it some of Oshkosh's key players may have been feeling the "i'm hungover" bug because of decisions they may or may not have made the night before one of possibly the biggest games for them that day........

Anyone heard of any possible locations for NCVF Nationals in 2011?

nada. USA vb is slow in this regard.
They will likely wait till fall? after Junior Nationals and other tourneys they are busy with. Unless NCVF leans on them...
I hear Louisville is certain in 2014 though.

.. I hear Louisville is certain in 2014 though. They've set a location for nationals 4 years down the road, but aren't sure for next year yet. How does that work?

Who does Illinois have coming back? Both Deeke and Doug have 1 year of eligibility left. Will they be playing next year? Other than those 2 most of their starting line up should be 4th year Seniors next year. Doug is moving onto the real world as he is done with school. I don't know about Deeke as he was on the fence for this season.

I don't know if the accepted bid from Louisville was for two dates, or .....while there, the decision was made for another date in the future....but I believe KC's bid was for two nationals....in the past... 2005 and 2009... so that may be what some cities do....make multiple year bids...helps fill their convention calendar well ahead of time. And the bid may be...... come twice and we will give you a better deal.....? I think that is how it works. NIRSA was at Dallas twice somewhat recently....so THAT may have been a multiple year bid also.
