Also, Ferguson was supposed to be the Head Coach, I guess he backed out last minute? Don't know how last minute it was. I was surprised on OH picks also. Thought Yoder and Jake were locks. I can't imagine that Yoder wouldn't have been picked by Bill. Don't know what the thought process was. Chemistry? Attitude? You just never know I guess. As for Jake, I wonder if his back problems from last year and his not playing club this spring had anything to do with the decision. I certainly hope he will be 100% this season for UCLA. Both great hitters, but I'm excited to see how the other OH's do. Middles look really strong. From what I saw of Ultimate's gold medal match at the Nationals, Pernizer looked darn good. Don't know the other Oppo. Liberos are very strong -- both were on YNT last year, and I think the setters are strong too. Dion-Kindem started for the YNT last year in Mexico, and Christy played alot for Ohio this last year. Should be interesting to see how the PT is allocated. Go USA!

I'm confident with our setters and middles, and Perinar is a good opposite. I thought they were going to pick Hessenauer for sure though. I have no idea what happened with Yoder. As for Jake, I talk to one of my teammates (Jake goes/went to the same high school as us) and he said that Speraw might have told Jake not to go 100 percent because they don't want him to get hurt even further. I wouldn't be surprised if they red shirted him for one season, it depends on how his back and knees feel. Faagata is good, I just didn't expect him to make the cut. I haven't seen Fey play, and lil' Sander is dominant. Jake and him are close friends. I think Dagastino will start at Libero in some matches, and Enriques will start in others, as both are capable. Here is the starting line up I think we will see: Middles: Benesh and Rakestraw Lib: Dagastino Outside: Sander, Fey Rightside: Perinar Setter: Dion-Kindem

It's no surprise to me that Fey made it, are people forgetting he was the best outside on the Youth team a few years back??
