Russia: sky gray, buildings gray, people gray, COLD, dark for about 18 hours a day in some parts during the winter. Unfriendliness people I ever met. Depression doesn't discriminate. Hoping he gets some help.

I would guess (completely uninformed and uneducated) that Matt wants and needs to spend some time with his family, nothing more than that. We welcome him home to Western New York with open arms. He will be a welcomed normal(tall) face in the crowd having some wings and a cold Molson Canadian at Duffs.
Have a nice day friends of vb! Be well and bring good cheer.

I find this discussion very, very timely. I have a coaching friend who has a player (female) who battles depression. They (coach and player) are always searching for ways to battle the issue. So if anyone is going through a similar experience or has any sight into depression and the playing of the game, please message me directly. From what I have read of Matt, he is an amazing talent and I wish him only the very best.

Maybe Akbar is jealous of your post count and is just trying to run his up. (Or hers. Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
Here's to hoping that Matt Anderson feels better soon and returns to the game.
